The weather may be a roller coaster but the stories are always great here at our monthly story circle. Enjoy a pint or a cup of coffee while you take in stories, songs, and recitations from newcomers and seasoned tellers alike. Our host Catherine Wright – a seasoned storyteller in her own WRIGHT (ha!) is joined by Len Sperry to share tales and ballads that will warm your heart.
 
Whether you’ve been working on new material, want to share an old classic, or are taking the plunge to tell for the first time – we’d love to see you!

 

ABOUT OUR HOSTS

CATHERINE WRIGHT & LEN SPERRY

 

Catherine and Len have performed songs and stories together at many community events including schools, libraries, seniors’ homes, preschool and literacy events, and local festivals. It was their love of singing that brought them together fifteen short years ago.

Catherine is president of St John’s Storytelling Festival and provincial representative for Storytellers of Canada.

 

The St. John’s Storytelling Circle runs the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Erin’s Pub, with opportunities for new storytellers to spin a yarn. Erin’s Pub is located at 186 Water Street, St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.
