The good weather is rolling in and there’s no finer way to cap off a mid-week evening than with a few friends and a few great stories. July’s host will be the captivating Sharon King-Campbell, a storyteller, actor and playwright with more than a few immaculately crafted myths up her sleeve. Well known for her prowess with traditional Jack tales, Sharon may also invite you into the crafty ways of her late grandfather, or squirrel you away into hiding from an imposing troll with a bone to pick. This is an open mic event where we welcome tellers of all experience levels – first timers and seasoned performers alike. Not up for telling a tale? Not to worry! A teller is nowhere without an attentive audience. And when we’ve clued up here, why not stroll down the street to The Ship for Folk Night? What more could you ask for on a Wednesday!
