Programming & Promotions Assistant

June 11 – July 20, 2018
Hours per week: 30
Hourly Rate: $11.15

The St. John’s Storytelling Festival is seeking an organized, independent, and down-to-earth individual to join our Festival team for the Summer. The successful candidate will get to meet and work with incredible local storytellers and build a network and community of cultural workers and performers…but the truth is, running a festival is a lot less “glitz and glamour” and a lot more organized and timely administration that pulls together to create something spectacular.

The Programming and Promotions Assistant will learn the behind-the-scenes of running a successful festival and undertake the practical aspects by helping us run our upcoming Summer Storytelling Series including storytelling events and workshops.
