April Virtual Story Circle
Wednesday, April 14th
7:30 pm NST (3:00 PST, 6:00 EST, 11:00 UK)
Free! on Zoom
As we pass the one year anniversary of ‘two weeks of lockdown’, let us celebrate the fact that we have been able to gather around the virtual campfire and share stories that keep us connected and keep us sane! So grab your favourite beverage and a tasty snack and settle in to enjoy the tales.
Our monthly Story Circle is an open mic event, formerly taking place live at Erin’s Pub and now virtually through Zoom! Storytellers from Newfoundland, Labrador, and other parts of Canada and the world share their stories. True, mythological, fictional, rhyming – all kinds of stories are welcomed! On any given night we enjoy tales that tickle our funny bones, invite us to be contemplative, and remind us of our resilience.
**We still have some spots open for storytellers for April. We are especially keen to hear from more Newfoundland and Labrador storytellers!**
If you would like to share a story please e-mail us at storytellingstjohns@gmail.com
