You’re Some Sweet – Stories of Friendship and Kindness

St. John’s Storytelling, in collaboration with St. Nicholas Church in Torbay, is delighted to announce our third annual Storytelling Fundraiser! This year’s event, titled “You’re Some Sweet – Stories of Friendship and Kindness,” promises to be a heartwarming evening celebrating the power of kindness and the beauty of friendship through captivating storytelling.

Join us for an unforgettable night, hosted by the multi-talented Derrick Dymond, as we bring together some of Newfoundland’s finest and most beloved storytellers: Randy Crane, Dave Paddon, Gary Green, and Harry Ingram. These gifted individuals will share touching and inspiring stories that will leave you laughing, reflecting, and feeling deeply connected to the rich traditions of Newfoundland’s storytelling culture.

The event will take place on May 2 at 7 p.m. at the historic St. Nicholas Church in Torbay, a charming venue that provides the perfect setting for a cozy and intimate night of storytelling.

Tickets are available for $20 + applicable fees through EventBrite, and a limited number of tickets will also be available at the door as well as at Torbay History House and Museum. We encourage you to secure your tickets early, as this event sells out quickly!
